that like:
"Behold,¹ I will watchª ° over¹ them for evil,ª and not¹ for good:ª and all¹ the menª of Judahª that¹ [are] in the landª of Egyptª shall be consumedª ° by the swordª and by the famine,ª until¹ there be an endª ° of them." {Jer 44:27} + "Therefore hath the LORDª watchedª ° upon¹ the evil,ª and broughtª ° it upon¹ us: for¹ the LORDª our Godª [is] righteousª in¹ all¹ his worksª which¹ he doeth:ª ° for we obeyedª ° not¹ his voice.ª" {Dan 9:14}

to pluck:
"See,ª ° I have this¹ dayª setª ° thee over¹ the nationsª and over¹ the kingdoms,ª to root out,ª ° and to pull down,ª ° and to destroy,ª ° and to throw down,ª ° to build,ª ° and to plant.ª °" {Jer 1:10} + "[At what] instantª I shall speakª ° concerning¹ a nation,ª and concerning¹ a kingdom,ª to pluck up,ª ° and to pull down,ª ° and to destroyª ° [it]; ...
