Calling:
"Lift ye upª ° a bannerª upon¹ the highª ° mountain,ª exaltª ° the voiceª unto them, shakeª ° the hand,ª that they may goª ° into the gatesª of the nobles.ª ... The noiseª of a multitudeª in the mountains,ª like¹ as² of a greatª people;ª a tumultuousª noiseª of the kingdomsª of nationsª gathered together:ª ° the LORDª of hostsª musterethª ° the hostª of the battle.ª" {Isa 13:2-4} + "And he sawª ° a chariotª [with] a coupleª of horsemen,ª a chariotª of asses,ª [and] a chariotª of camels;ª and he hearkenedª ° diligentlyª with muchª heed:ª ... a ravenous bird:
Or, "an eagle," a very proper emblem for Cyrus, says Bp. Lowth, as in other respects, so particularly because the ensign of Cyrus was a golden eagle, ΑΕΤΟΣ χρυσους, the very word ayit which the prophet uses here, expressed as near as may be in Greek letters. "Thou shalt fallª ° upon¹ the mountainsª of Israel,ª thou,¹ and all¹ thy bands,ª and the peopleª that¹ [is] with¹ thee: I will giveª ° thee unto the ravenousª birdsª of every¹ sort,ª and [to] the beastsª of the fieldª to be devoured.ª" {Ezk 39:4}

the man:
