The labour:

the Sabeans:
That the Sabeans were of a most majestic appearance is particularly remarked by Agatharchides, an ancient Greek historian quoted by Bochart. "And the Sabeansª fellª ° [upon them], and took them away;ª ° yea, they have slainª ° the servantsª with the edgeª of the sword;ª and I¹ only¹ am escapedª ° alone¹ to tellª ° thee." {Job 1:15} + "And a voiceª of a multitudeª being at easeª [was] with her: and with¹ the men² ¹ of the common sortª ª ¹ [were] broughtª ° Sabeansª °² ° from the wilderness,ª ¹ which putª ° braceletsª upon¹ their hands,ª and beautifulª crownsª upon¹ their heads.ª" {Ezk 23:42} + "And I will sellª °¹ your sonsª and your daughtersª into the handª of the childrenª of Judah,ª and they shall sellª ° them to the Sabeans,ª to¹ a peopleª far off:ª for¹ the LORDª hath spokenª ° [it]." {Jol 3:8}
