burden:
This and the following chapter form one entire prophecy; which was most probably delivered, as Bp. Lowth supposes, soon after the foregoing ("In the yearª that kingª Ahazª diedª was¹ this¹ burden.ª ... What¹ shall [one] then answerª ° the messengersª of the nation?ª That¹ the LORDª hath foundedª ° Zion,ª and the poorª of his peopleª shall trustª ° in it." {Isa 14:28-32}), in the first year of Hezekiah, and accomplished in his fourth year when Shalmaneser invaded Israel. Moab:
