am 2964, bc 1040 (Title), This Psalm is composed of two Psalms; "O give thanksª° unto the LORD;ª callª° upon his name:ª make knownª° his deedsª among the people.ª ... Rememberª° his marvellous worksª° that¹ he hath done;ª° his wonders,ª and the judgmentsª of his mouth;ª" {Psa 105:1-5} being the same as "My heartª is fixed,ª° O God,ª my heartª is fixed:ª° I will singª° and give praise.ª° ... Be thou exalted,ª° O God,ª above¹ the heavens:ª [let] thy gloryª [be] above¹ all¹ the earth.ª" {Psa 57:7-11}; and "O ye seedª of Abrahamª his servant,ª ye childrenª of Jacobª his chosen.ª ... Through Godª we shall doª° valiantly:ª for he¹ [it is that] shall tread downª° our enemies.ª" {Psa 60:5-12}; and it is probably to be referred to the same period as the latter. "[[To the chief Musician,ª° A Psalmª [or] Songª of David.]]ª Let Godª arise,ª° let his enemiesª° be scattered:ª° let them also that hateª° him fleeª° beforeª¹ him." {Psa 68:1} *title
