{Psalms 77:10} And I said, 559 z8799 This x1931 [is] my infirmity: 2470 z8763 [but I will remember] the years 8141 of the right hand 3225 of the most High. 5945
This is:
etc. Or, as Dr. Waterland renders, "This my affliction is a change of the right hand of the Most High," i.e., it proceeds from a change of God's conduct towards me. De Dieu renders, Precari, hoc meum est; mutare dextram AltissimiÌ "To pray, this is my business. To change the right hand of the Most High." I can do nothing else than pray: God is the Ruler of events.
Mr. N. M. Berlin translates, Dolere meum hoc est: mutare est dextre Altissimi. "To grieve is my portion. To change (my condition) belongs to the right hand of the Most High." "For I¹ saidª° in my haste,ª° I am cut offª° from beforeª¹ thine eyes:ª neverthelessª thou heardestª° the voiceª of my supplicationsª when I criedª° unto¹ thee." {Psa 31:22} + "So foolishª [was] I,¹ and ignorant:ª°¹ I was¹ [as] a beastª before¹ thee." {Psa 73:22} + "I¹ saidª° in my haste,ª° All¹ menª [are] liars.ª°" {Psa 116:11} + "Who¹ [is] he¹ that hidethª° counselª without¹ knowledge?ª therefore¹ have I utteredª° that I understoodª° not;¹ things too wonderfulª° for¹ me, which I knewª° not.¹" {Job 42:3} + "And I said,ª° My strengthª and my hopeª is perishedª° from the LORD:ª¹ ... [They are] newª every morning:ª greatª [is] thy faithfulness.ª" {Lam 3:18-23} + "Andª straightwayª the¹ fatherª of the¹ childª cried out,ª° and saidª° withª tears,ª Lord,ª I believe;ª° help¹ thou²° mineª unbelief.ª" {Mrk 9:24}
the years:
"I have consideredª° the daysª of old,ª¹ the yearsª of ancient times.ª" {Psa 77:5} + "Thy right hand,ª O LORD,ª is become gloriousª° in power:ª thy right hand,ª O LORD,ª hath dashed in piecesª° the enemy.ª°" {Exd 15:6} + "He hath not¹ beheldª° iniquityª in Jacob,ª neither¹ hath he seenª° perversenessª in Israel:ª the LORDª his Godª [is] with¹ him, and the shoutª of a kingª [is] among them. ... Godª brought them outª° of Egypt;ª¹ he hath as it were the strengthª of an unicorn.ª" {Num 23:21-22} + "Or¹ hath Godª assayedª° to goª° [and] takeª° him a nationª from the midstª¹ of [another] nation,ª by temptations,ª by signs,ª and by wonders,ª and by war,ª and by a mightyª hand,ª and by a stretched outª° arm,ª and by greatª terrors,ª according to all¹ that¹ the LORDª your Godª didª° for you in Egyptª before your eyes?ª" {Deu 4:34} + "O LORD,ª I have heardª° thy speech,ª [and] was afraid:ª° O LORD,ª reviveª° thy workª in the midstª of the years,ª in the midstª of the yearsª make known;ª° in wrathª rememberª° mercy.ª° ... Thou wentest forthª° for the salvationª of thy people,ª [even] for salvationª with¹ thine anointed;ª thou woundedstª° the headª out of the houseª¹ of the wicked,ª by discoveringª° the foundationª unto¹ the neck.ª Selah.ª" {Hab 3:2-13}
