For:
"Yea,¹ mine own familiar² friend,ª ¹ in whom¹ I trusted,ª ° which did eatª ° of my bread,ª hath lifted upª ° [his] heelª against¹ me." {Psa 41:9}

magnify:
"Let them be ashamedª ° and brought to confusionª ° togetherª that rejoiceª at mine hurt:ª let them be clothedª ° with shameª and dishonourª that magnifyª ° [themselves] against¹ me." {Psa 35:26} + "For¹ I said,ª ° [Hear me], lest¹ [otherwise] they should rejoiceª ° over me: when my footª slippeth,ª ° they magnifyª ° [themselves] against¹ me." {Psa 38:16} + "Shall the axeª boast² ° itself¹ against¹ him that hewethª ° therewith?
