Instead of elohim, "God," more than 20 manuscripts, with the LXX, Syriac, and Chaldee, read yehowah, "Jehovah," as in "Oh thatª °¹ the salvationª of Israelª [were come] out of Zion!ª ¹ when the LORDª bringeth backª ° the captivityª of his people,ª Jacobª shall rejoice,ª ° [and] Israelª shall be glad.ª °" {Psa 14:7}.

bringeth:
