{Psalms 37:20} But x3588 the wicked 7563 shall perish, 6 z8799 and the enemies 341 z8802 of the LORD 3068 [shall be] as the fat 3368 of lambs: 3733 they shall consume; 3615 z8804 into smoke 6227 shall they consume away. 3615 z8804

But the:

as the fat of lambs:
Heb. preciousness, That is, as the fat was wholly consumed in sacrifices, by the fire on the altar, so the wicked shall consume away in the fire of God's anger. "And for the preciousª ¹ fruitsª [brought forth] by the sun,ª and for the precious thingsª ¹ put forthª by the moon,ª ... And for the precious thingsª ¹ of the earthª and fulnessª thereof, and [for] the good willª of him that dweltª ° in the bush:ª let [the blessing] comeª ° upon the headª of Joseph,ª and upon the top of the headª of him [that was] separatedª from his brethren.ª" {Deu 33:14-16}

smoke:
"For¹ my daysª are consumedª ° like smoke,ª and my bonesª are burnedª ° as¹ an hearth.ª" {Psa 102:3} + "And he lookedª ° towardª ¹ Sodomª and Gomorrah,ª and towardª ¹ all¹ the landª of the plain,ª and beheld,ª ° and, lo,¹ the smokeª of the countryª went upª ° as the smokeª of a furnace.ª" {Gen 19:28} + "And he shall offerª ° of the sacrificeª ¹ of the peace offeringª an offering made by fireª unto the LORD;ª ¹ the fatª that coverethª °¹ the inwards,ª and all¹ the fatª that¹ [is] upon¹ the inwards,ª ...
