maketh:
Or as Bp. Lowth and others, "maketh the oaks to tremble and maketh bare the forests;" understanding ayyaloth, as denoting here, not hinds, but oaks, as it signifies in Syriac. "Knowestª ° thou the timeª when the wild goatsª of the rockª bring forth?ª ° [or] canst thou markª ° when the hindsª do calve?ª ° ... They bowª ° themselves, they bring forthª ° their young ones,ª they cast outª ° their sorrows.ª" {Job 39:1-3}
