- the hill:
- "The hillª of Godª [is as] the hillª of Bashan;ª an highª hillª [as] the hillª of Bashan.ª ... Why¹ leapª° ye, ye highª hills?ª [this is] the hillª [which] Godª desirethª° to dwell¹ in;²° yea,¹ the LORDª will dwellª° [in it] for ever.ª" {Psa 68:15-16} + "But choseª°¹ the tribeª of Judah,ª¹ the mountª Zionª which¹ he loved.ª° ... And he builtª° his sanctuaryª like¹ highª° [palaces], like the earthª which he hath establishedª° for ever.ª" {Psa 78:68-69} + "For¹ the LORDª hath chosenª° Zion;ª he hath desiredª° [it] for his habitation.ª ... This¹ [is] my restª for ever:ª¹ here¹ will I dwell;ª° for¹ I have desiredª° it." {Psa 132:13-14} + "And it was toldª° kingª David,ª saying,ª° The LORDª hath blessedª°¹ the houseª of Obededom,ª and all¹ that¹ [pertaineth] unto him, because¹ of the arkª of God.ª So Davidª went²°¹ and brought upª°¹ the arkª of Godª from the houseª¹ of Obededomª into the cityª of Davidª with gladness.ª ... And they brought²° in¹¹ the arkª of the LORD,ª and setª° it in his place,ª in the midstª of the tabernacleª that¹ Davidª had pitchedª° for it: and Davidª offeredª° burnt offeringsª and peace offeringsª beforeª the LORD.ª" {2Sm 6:12-17} + "And [David] madeª° him housesª in the cityª of David,ª and preparedª° a placeª for the arkª of God,ª and pitchedª° for it a tent.ª" {1Ch 15:1} + "So¹ David,ª and the eldersª of Israel,ª and the captainsª over thousands,ª wentª° to bring upª°¹ the arkª of the covenantª of the LORDª out of¹ the houseª of Obededomª with joy.ª ... Thus all¹ Israelª brought upª°¹ the arkª of the covenantª of the LORDª with shouting,ª and with soundª of the cornet,ª and with trumpets,ª and with cymbals,ª making a noiseª° with psalteriesª and harps.ª" {1Ch 15:25-28} + "Butª ye are come²° unto¹ mountª Sion,ª andª unto the cityª of the livingª° God,ª the heavenlyª Jerusalem,ª andª to an innumerable companyª of angels,ª ... Andª to Jesusª the mediatorª of the newª covenant,ª andª to the bloodª of sprinkling,ª that speakethª° better thingsª thanª [that of] Abel.ª" {Hbr 12:22-24}
