{Esther 9:20} And Mordecai 4782 wrote 3789 z8799 x853 these x428 things, 1697 and sent 7971 z8799 letters 5612 unto x413 all x3605 the Jews 3064 that x834 [were] in all x3605 the provinces 4082 of the king 4428 Ahasuerus, 325 [both] nigh 7138 and far, 7350

Mordecai:
That is, as the words imply, the history contained in this book; and not merely the letters afterwards mentioned, as some understand it.

wrote these:
"And the LORDª saidª ° unto¹ Moses,ª Writeª ° this¹ [for] a memorialª in a book,ª and rehearseª ° [it] in the earsª of Joshua:ª for¹ I will utterly² ° put outª °¹ the remembranceª of Amalekª from under¹ ¹ heaven.ª" {Exd 17:14} + "Now¹ therefore writeª °¹ ye this¹ songª for you, and teachª ° it¹ the childrenª of Israel:ª putª ° it in their mouths,ª that¹ this¹ songª may be¹ a witnessª for me against the childrenª of Israel.ª ...
