{Esther 9:13} Then said 559 z8799 Esther, 635 If x518 it please y2896 x2895 x5921 the king, 4428 let it be granted 5414 z8735 to the Jews 3064 which x834 [are] in Shushan 7800 to do 6213 z8800 to morrow 4279 also x1571 according unto this day's 3117 decree, 1881 and let Haman's 2001 ten 6235 sons 1121 be hanged 8518 z8799 upon x5921 the gallows. 6086

If it please the king:
Esther had probably been informed by Mordecai, that there were still many enemies of the Jews who sought their destruction, who had escaped the preceding day; and therefore begged that the second day might be added to the former permission; and that the sons of Haman, who had already been slain, might be suspended on gibbets, as a terror to those who sought the destruction of the Jews.

according unto:
"Wherein¹ the kingª grantedª ° the Jewsª which¹ [were] in every¹ cityª to gather themselves together,ª ° and to standª ° for¹ their life,ª to destroy,ª ° to slay,ª ° and to cause to perish,ª °¹ all¹ the powerª of the peopleª and provinceª that would assaultª ° them, [both] little onesª and women,ª and [to take] the spoilª of them for a prey,ª °" {Est 8:11}

let Haman's ten sons be hanged:
Heb. let men hang Haman's ten sons, "His bodyª shall not¹ remain all nightª ° upon¹ the tree,ª but¹ thou shalt in any wise² ° buryª ° him that¹ day;ª (for¹ he that is hangedª ° [is] accursedª of God;)ª that¹ thy landª be not¹ defiled,ª ° which¹ the LORDª thy Godª givethª ° thee [for] an inheritance.ª" {Deu 21:23} + "Let sevenª men² ¹ of his sonsª ¹ be deliveredª ° unto us, and we will hang¹ them up² ° unto the LORDª in Gibeahª of Saul,ª [whom] the LORDª did choose.ª And the kingª said,ª ° I¹ will giveª ° [them]." {2Sm 21:6} + "And he deliveredª ° them into the handsª of the Gibeonites,ª and they hangedª ° them in the hillª beforeª the LORD:ª and they fellª ° [all] sevenª °² together,ª and were put to deathª ° in the daysª of harvest,ª in the firstª [days], in the beginningª of barleyª harvest.ª" {2Sm 21:9} + "Christª hath redeemedª ° usª fromª the¹ curseª of the¹ law,ª being madeª ° a curseª forª us:ª forª it is written,ª ° Cursedª [is] every oneª that hangethª ° onª a tree:ª" {Gal 3:13}
