{Esther 8:11} Wherein x834 the king 4428 granted 5414 z8804 the Jews 3064 which x834 [were] in every x3605 city 5892 to gather themselves together, 6950 z8736 and to stand 5975 z8800 for x5921 their life, 5315 to destroy, 8045 z8687 to slay, 2026 z8800 and to cause to perish, 6 z8763 x853 all x3605 the power 2428 of the people 5971 and province 4082 that would assault 6696 z8802 them, [both] little ones 2945 and women, 802 and [to take] the spoil 7998 of them for a prey, 962 z8800

to gather:
"The Jewsª gathered themselves togetherª ° in their citiesª throughout all¹ the provincesª of the kingª Ahasuerus,ª to layª ° handª on such as soughtª ° their hurt:ª and no¹ manª could withstandª ° them;² for¹ the fearª of them fellª ° upon¹ all¹ people.ª ... But the otherª Jewsª that¹ [were] in the king'sª provincesª gathered themselves together,ª ° and stoodª ° for¹ their lives,ª and had rest² ¹ from their enemies,ª °¹ and slewª ° of their foesª ° seventyª and fiveª thousand,ª but they laidª ° not¹ ¹ their handsª on the prey,ª" {Est 9:2-16}

to destroy:
"The wickedª have drawn outª ° the sword,ª and have bentª ° their bow,ª to cast downª ° the poorª and needy,ª [and] to slayª ° such as be of uprightª conversation.ª ... Their swordª shall enterª ° into their own heart,ª and their bowsª shall be broken.ª °" {Psa 37:14-15} + "But let the righteousª be glad;ª ° let them rejoiceª ° beforeª God:ª yea, let them exceedinglyª rejoice.ª °" {Psa 68:3} + "O daughterª of Babylon,ª who art to be destroyed;ª ° happyª [shall he be], that rewardethª °¹ thee as¹ ¹ thou hast servedª °² ¹ us." {Psa 137:8} + "Which madeª ° heaven,ª and earth,ª ¹ the sea,ª and all¹ that¹ therein [is]: which keepethª ° truthª for ever:ª ... and to take the spoil:
"And the lettersª were sentª ° byª postsª ° into¹ all¹ the king'sª provinces,ª to destroy,ª ° to kill,ª ° and to cause to perish,ª °¹ all¹ Jews,ª both youngª ¹ and¹ old,ª little childrenª and women,ª in oneª day,ª [even] upon the thirteenthª ª [day] of the twelfthª ª month,ª which¹ is the monthª Adar,ª and [to take] the spoilª of them for a prey.ª °" {Est 3:13} + "The tenª sonsª of Hamanª the sonª of Hammedatha,ª the enemyª ° of the Jews,ª slewª ° they; but on the spoilª laidª ° they not¹ ¹ their hand.ª" {Est 9:10} + "For the Jewsª that¹ [were] in Shushanª gathered themselves togetherª ° on the fourteenthª ª dayª also¹ of the monthª Adar,ª and slewª ° threeª hundredª menª at Shushan;ª but on the preyª they laidª ° not¹ ¹ their hand.ª ...
