"The copyª of the writingª for a commandmentª to be givenª ° in every¹ provinceª [was] publishedª ° unto all¹ people,ª and that the Jewsª should be¹ readyª °² against that¹ dayª to avenge² ° themselves¹ on their enemies.ª °¹ ... [So] the postsª ° that rode² ° upon¹ mulesª [and] camelsª went out,ª ° being hastenedª ° and pressed onª ° by the king'sª commandment.ª And the decreeª was givenª ° at Shushanª the palace.ª" {Est 8:13-14}
