the first month:
"And it came to pass¹ in the monthª Nisan,ª in the twentiethª yearª of Artaxerxesª the king,ª [that] wineª [was] beforeª him: and I took upª °¹ the wine,ª and gaveª ° [it] unto the king.ª Now I had not¹ been¹ [beforetime] sadª in his presence.ª" {Neh 2:1}

in the twelfth:
"In the thirdª yearª of his reign,ª ° he madeª ° a feastª unto all¹ his princesª and his servants;ª the powerª of Persiaª and Media,ª the noblesª and princesª of the provinces,ª [being] beforeª him:" {Est 1:3} + "So Estherª was takenª ° unto¹ kingª Ahasuerusª into¹ his houseª royalª in the tenthª month,ª which¹ [is] the monthª Tebeth,ª in the seventhª yearª of his reign.ª" {Est 2:16}

they cast Pur:
"Because¹ Hamanª the sonª of Hammedatha,ª the Agagite,ª the enemyª ° of all¹ the Jews,ª had devisedª ° against¹ the Jewsª to destroyª ° them, and had castª ° Pur,ª that¹ [is], the lot,ª to consumeª ° them, and to destroyª ° them; ... Wherefore¹ ¹ they calledª ° these¹ daysª Purimª after¹ the nameª of Pur.ª Therefore¹ ¹ for¹ all¹ the wordsª of this¹ letter,ª and [of that] which¹ they had seenª ° concerning¹ this matter,ª and which¹ had comeª ° unto¹ them," {Est 9:24-26} + "¹ The lotª is castª ° into the lap;ª but the whole¹ disposingª thereof [is] of the LORD.ª ¹" {Prv 16:33} + "For¹ the kingª of Babylonª stoodª ° at¹ the partingª of the way,ª at the headª of the twoª ways,ª to useª ° divination:ª he made [his] arrows² bright,ª °¹ he consultedª ° with images,ª he lookedª ° in the liver.ª ... Adar:
"Now in the twelfthª ª month,ª that¹ [is], the monthª Adar,ª on the thirteenthª ª dayª of the same, when¹ the king'sª commandmentª and his decreeª drew nearª ° to be put in execution,ª ° in the dayª that¹ the enemiesª ° of the Jewsª hopedª ° to have powerª ° over them, (though it¹ was turned² ° to the contrary,¹ that¹ the Jewsª had rule² ° over¹ them¹ that hatedª ° them;)" {Est 9:1} + "Thus the Jewsª smoteª ° all¹ their enemiesª ° with the strokeª of the sword,ª and slaughter,ª and destruction,ª and didª ° what they wouldª unto those that hatedª ° them." {Est 9:5} + "On the thirteenthª ª dayª of the monthª Adar;ª and on the fourteenthª ª day of the same rested² ¹ they, and madeª ° it a dayª of feastingª and gladness.ª ...
