It is reported:
"And they bendª °¹ their tonguesª [like] their bowª [for] lies:ª but they are not¹ valiantª ° for the truthª upon the earth;ª for¹ they proceedª ° from evilª ¹ to¹ evil,ª and they knowª ° not¹ me, saithª ° the LORD.ª ... Thine habitationª ° [is] in the midstª of deceit;ª through deceitª they refuseª ° to knowª ° me, saithª ° the LORD.ª" {Jer 9:3-6} + "For¹ I heardª ° the defamingª of many,ª fearª on every side.ª ¹ Report,ª ° [say they], and we will reportª ° it. "Now it came to pass,¹ when¹ Sanballat,ª and Tobiah,ª and Geshemª the Arabian,ª and the restª of our enemies,ª ° heardª ° that¹ I had buildedª °¹ the wall,ª and [that] there was no¹ breachª leftª ° therein; (thoughª ² at¹ that¹ timeª I had not¹ set upª ° the doorsª upon the gates;)ª ... That Sanballatª and Geshemª sentª ° unto¹ me, saying,ª ° Come,² °¹ let us meetª ° togetherª in [some one of] the villagesª in the plainª of Ono.ª But they¹ thoughtª ° to doª ° me mischief.ª" {Neh 6:1-2}, Geshem

that thou and:
