the valley gate:
"And I went outª ° by nightª by the gateª of the valley,ª even beforeª ¹ the dragonª well,ª °² and to¹ the dungª port,ª and viewedª °°² °¹ the wallsª of Jerusalem,ª which¹ were broken down,ª ° and the gatesª thereof were consumedª ° with fire.ª" {Neh 2:13}

Zanoah:
There were two towns of the name of Zanoah in the tribe of Judah. See the parallel passages. "Zanoah,ª Adullam,ª and [in] their villages,ª at Lachish,ª and the fieldsª thereof, at Azekah,ª and [in] the villagesª thereof.
