"And when the LORDª thy Godª shall deliverª ° them beforeª thee; thou shalt smiteª ° them, [and] utterly² ° destroyª ° them; thou shalt makeª ° no¹ covenantª with them, nor¹ shew mercyª ° unto them: ... Neither¹ shalt thou make marriagesª ° with them; thy daughterª thou shalt not¹ giveª ° unto his son,ª nor¹ his daughterª shalt thou takeª ° unto thy son.ª" {Deu 7:2-3} + "Else¹ if¹ ye do in any wise² ° go back,ª ° and cleaveª ° unto the remnantª of these¹ nations,ª [even] these¹ that remainª ° among¹ you, and shall make marriagesª ° with them, and go inª ° unto them, and they¹ to you: ...
