{Ezra 8:36} And they delivered 5414 z8799 x853 the king's 4428 commissions 1881 unto the king's 4428 lieutenants, 323 and to the governors 6346 on this side 5676 the river: 5104 and they furthered 5375 z8765 x853 the people, 5971 and the house 1004 of God. 430

the king's commissions:
"And I,² [even] Iª Artaxerxesª the king,ª do makeª ° a decreeª to allª the treasurersª which¹ [are] beyondª the river,ª that¹ whatsoever¹ ¹ Ezraª the priest,ª the scribeª of the lawª of¹ the Godª of heaven,ª shall requireª ° of you, it be doneª ° speedily,ª ... Also we certifyª ° you, that¹ touching anyª of the priestsª and Levites,ª singers,ª porters,ª Nethinims,ª or ministersª ° of thisª houseª of God,ª it shall notª be lawfulª to imposeª ° toll,ª tribute,ª or custom,ª uponª them." {Ezr 7:21-24}

lieutenants:
"And in the daysª of Artaxerxesª wroteª ° Bishlam,ª Mithredath,ª Tabeel,ª and the restª of their companions,ª unto¹ Artaxerxesª kingª of Persia;ª and the writingª of the letterª [was] writtenª ° in the Syrian tongue,ª and interpretedª ° in the Syrian tongue.ª ... Nowª whenª ª the copyª of kingª Artaxerxes'ª letterª [was] readª ° beforeª Rehum,ª and Shimshaiª the scribe,ª and their companions,ª they went upª ° in hasteª to Jerusalemª untoª the Jews,ª and made themª to ceaseª ° by forceª and power.ª" {Ezr 4:7-23} + "The copyª of the letterª that¹ Tatnai,ª governorª on this sideª the river,ª and Shetharboznai,ª and his companionsª the Apharsachites,ª which¹ [were] on this sideª the river,ª sentª ° untoª Dariusª the king:ª ... they furthered:
