{Ezra 7:21} And I, y4481 [even] I 576 Artaxerxes 783 the king, 4430 do make 7761 z8752 a decree 2942 to all 3606 the treasurers 1490 which x1768 [are] beyond 5675 the river, 5103 that x1768 whatsoever x3606 x1768 Ezra 5831 the priest, 3549 the scribe 5613 of the law 1882 of x1768 the God 426 of heaven, 8065 shall require 7593 z8748 of you, it be done 5648 z8725 speedily, 629

Artaxerxes:
"Artaxerxes,ª kingª of kings,ª unto Ezraª the priest,ª a scribeª of the lawª of¹ the Godª of heaven,ª perfectª ° [peace], and at such a time.ª ... I² makeª ° a decree,ª that¹ allª they ofª the peopleª of Israel,ª and [of] his priestsª and Levites,ª in my realm,ª which are minded of their own freewillª ° to go upª ° to Jerusalem,ª goª ° with¹ thee.²" {Ezr 7:12-13}

beyond the river:
"Weª certifyª ° the kingª that,¹ ifª thisª cityª be buildedª ° [again], and the wallsª thereof set up,ª ° by thisª meansª thou shalt haveª noª portionª on this sideª the river.ª" {Ezr 4:16} + "There have beenª ° mightyª kingsª also overª Jerusalem,ª which have ruledª over allª [countries] beyondª the river;ª and toll,ª tribute,ª and custom,ª was paidª ° unto them." {Ezr 4:20} + "Nowª [therefore], Tatnai,ª governorª beyondª the river,ª Shetharboznai,ª and your companionsª the Apharsachites,ª which¹ [are] beyondª the river,ª be¹ ye² ° farª fromª thence:ª" {Ezr 6:6}

Ezra the priest:
"This¹ Ezraª went upª ° from Babylon;ª ¹ and he¹ [was] a readyª scribeª ° in the lawª of Moses,ª which¹ the LORDª Godª of Israelª had given:ª ° and the kingª grantedª ° him all¹ his request,ª according to the handª of the LORDª his Godª upon¹ him." {Ezr 7:6} + "For¹ Ezraª had preparedª ° his heartª to seekª °¹ the lawª of the LORD,ª and to doª ° [it], and to teachª ° in Israelª statutesª and judgments.ª ...
