{2 Chronicles 30:17} For x3588 [there were] many 7227 in the congregation 6951 that x834 were not x3808 sanctified: 6942 z8694 therefore the Levites 3881 had the charge of x5921 the killing 7821 of the passovers 6453 for every one x3605 [that was] not x3808 clean, 2889 to sanctify 6942 z8687 [them] unto the LORD. 3068

the Levites:
"But¹ the priestsª were¹ too few,ª so that they couldª ° not¹ flayª °¹ all¹ the burnt offerings:ª wherefore their brethrenª the Levitesª did helpª ° them, till¹ the workª was ended,ª ° and until¹ the [other] priestsª had sanctified² ° themselves:¹ for¹ the Levitesª [were] more uprightª in heartª to sanctify² ° themselves¹ than the priests.ª ¹" {2Ch 29:34} + "And saidª ° unto the Levitesª that taughtª ² °° all¹ Israel,ª which were holyª unto the LORD,ª Putª °¹ the holyª arkª in the houseª which¹ Solomonª the sonª of Davidª kingª of Israelª did build;ª ° [it shall] not¹ [be] a burdenª upon [your] shoulders:ª serveª ° now¹ ¹ the LORDª your God,ª and his peopleª Israel,ª ... So killª ° the passover,ª and sanctify² ° yourselves,¹ and prepareª ° your brethren,ª that [they] may doª ° according to the wordª of the LORDª by the handª of Moses.ª" {2Ch 35:3-6}

the killing:
"And ye shall keepª ¹ it up until¹ the fourteenthª ª dayª of the same¹ month:ª and the wholeª assemblyª of the congregationª of Israelª shall killª ° it inª the evening.ª" {Exd 12:6}
