{2 Chronicles 29:21} And they brought 935 z8686 seven 7651 bullocks, 6499 and seven 7651 rams, 352 and seven 7651 lambs, 3532 and seven 7651 he y6842 goats, 5795 x6842 for a sin offering 2403 for x5921 the kingdom, 4467 and for x5921 the sanctuary, 4720 and for x5921 Judah. 3063 And he commanded 559 z8799 the priests 3548 the sons 1121 of Aaron 175 to offer 5927 z8687 [them] on x5921 the altar 4196 of the LORD. 3068

they brought:
The law only required one bullock for the sins of the high priest, another for the sins of the people, and one he-goat for the sins of the prince, but Hezekiah offered many more, and the reason appears sufficiently evident. The law only speaks of the sins of ignorance, but here there were sins of every dye, idolatry, apostasy from the Divine worship, profanation of the temple, etc., etc. The sin offerings, we are informed, were offered, first, for the Kingdom, for the transgressions of the king and his family; secondly, for the sanctuary, which had been defiled and polluted; and for the priests, who had been profane, negligent, and unholy; and finally, for Judah, for the whole mass of the people, who had been led away into every kind of abomination by the above examples.

a sin offering:
"If¹ the priestª that is anointedª do sinª ° according to the sinª of the people;ª then let him bringª ° for¹ his sin,ª which¹ he hath sinned,ª ° a youngª ª bullockª without blemishª unto the LORDª for a sin offering.ª ... When the sin,ª which¹ they have sinnedª ° against¹ it, is known,ª ° then the congregationª shall offerª ° a youngª ª bullockª for the sin,ª and bringª ° him beforeª the tabernacleª of the congregation.ª" {Lev 4:3-14} + "And if¹ ye have erred,ª ° and not¹ observedª °¹ all¹ these¹ commandments,ª which¹ the LORDª hath spokenª ° unto¹ Moses,ª ...
