- he built cities:
- "And Rehoboamª dweltª° in Jerusalem,ª and builtª° citiesª for defenceª in Judah.ª ... And Zorah,²¹ and Aijalon,ª and Hebron,ª which¹ [are] in Judahª and in Benjaminª fencedª cities.ª" {2Ch 11:5-10} + "Therefore he saidª° unto Judah,ª Let us buildª°¹ these¹ cities,ª and make aboutª° [them] walls,ª and towers,ª gates,ª and bars,ª [while] the landª [is] yet¹ beforeª us; because¹ we have soughtª°¹ the LORDª our God,ª we have soughtª° [him], and he hath given us restª° on every side.ª¹ So they builtª° and prospered.ª°" {2Ch 14:7} + "Moreover Uzziahª builtª° towersª in Jerusalemª at¹ the cornerª gate,ª and at¹ the valleyª gate,ª and at¹ the turningª [of the wall], and fortifiedª° them. ...
