digged many wells:
or, cut out many cisterns, "And Isaacª diggedª ° againª °¹ the wellsª of water,ª which¹ they had diggedª ° in the daysª of Abrahamª his father;ª for the Philistinesª had stoppedª ° them afterª the deathª of Abraham:ª and he calledª ° their namesª after the namesª by whichª his fatherª had calledª ° them. ...
