{2 Chronicles 23:9} Moreover Jehoiada 3077 the priest 3548 delivered 5414 z8799 to the captains 8269 of hundreds 3967 x853 spears, 2595 and bucklers, 4043 and shields, 7982 that x834 [had been] king 4428 David's, 1732 which x834 [were] in the house 1004 of God. 430

spears:
"And the priestª said,ª ° The swordª of Goliathª the Philistine,ª whom¹ thou slewestª ° in the valleyª of Elah,ª behold,¹ it¹ [is here] wrappedª ° in a clothª behindª the ephod:ª if¹ thou wilt takeª ° that, takeª ° [it]: for¹ [there is] no¹ otherª saveª that here.ª And Davidª said,ª ° [There is] none¹ like that; giveª ° it me." {1Sm 21:9} + "And Davidª tookª °¹ the shieldsª of goldª that¹ were¹ on¹ the servantsª of Hadadezer,ª and broughtª ° them to Jerusalem.ª" {2Sm 8:7}

which were in the house:
When the soldier retired from the tumults of war to the bosom of his family, he frequently hung up his arms in the temple, as a grateful acknowledgment of the protection he had received, and of the victories he had won. It is highly probable, therefore, that the arms of David which Jehoiada delivered to the captains of hundreds, "which were in the house of God," were laid up in the tabernacle by David when he resigned the command of his armies to his generals; and there is reason to believe that his conduct, in this respect, was followed by many of his companions in arms.
