after certain years:
Heb. at the end of years, "And it came to pass¹ afterª ¹ a while,ª that the brookª dried up,ª ° because¹ there had been¹ no¹ rainª in the land.ª" {1Kg 17:7} + "But in all¹ this¹ [time] was¹ not¹ I at Jerusalem:ª for¹ in the twoª and thirtiethª yearª of Artaxerxesª kingª of Babylonª cameª ° I unto¹ the king,ª and afterª certain daysª obtained I leaveª ° of¹ the king:ª" {Neh 13:6} *marg.

he went:

Ahab:
"And Adonijahª slewª ° sheepª and oxenª and fat cattleª by¹ the stoneª of Zoheleth,ª which¹ [is] byª Enrogel,ª and calledª °¹ all¹ his brethrenª the king'sª sons,ª and all¹ the men² ¹ of Judahª the king'sª servants:ª" {1Kg 1:9} + "And in that¹ dayª did the Lordª GODª of hostsª callª ° to weeping,ª and to mourning,ª and to baldness,ª and to girdingª ° with sackcloth:ª ... "And he saidª ° unto¹ Jehoshaphat,ª Wilt thou go² °¹ with¹ me to battleª to Ramothgilead?ª ² And Jehoshaphatª saidª ° to¹ the kingª of Israel,ª I [am] as thou² [art], my peopleª as thy people,ª my horsesª as thy horses.ª" {1Kg 22:4} + "And the LORDª said,ª ° Who¹ shall persuadeª °¹ Ahab,ª that he may go upª ° and fallª ° at Ramothgilead?ª ² And one¹ saidª ° on this manner,ª and another¹ saidª ° on that manner.ª ... Ramothgilead:
