Abel-maim is called Abel-beth-maachah in "So Benhadadª hearkenedª ° unto¹ kingª Asa,ª and sentª °¹ the captainsª of the hostsª which¹ he had against¹ the citiesª of Israel,ª and smoteª °¹ Ijon,ª and Dan,ª and Abelbethmaachah,ª and all¹ Cinneroth,ª with¹ all¹ the landª of Naphtali.ª" {1Kg 15:20}, and elsewhere, on account of its belonging to the district of Beth-maachah.

the store cities:
"And Baalath,ª and all¹ the storeª citiesª that¹ Solomonª had,¹ and all¹ the chariotª cities,ª and the citiesª of the horsemen,ª and all¹ that¹ Solomonª desiredª ª ° to buildª ° in Jerusalem,ª and in Lebanon,ª and throughout all¹ the landª of his dominion.ª" {2Ch 8:6} + "And Jehoshaphatª waxedª °¹ greatª exceedingly;ª ¹ and he builtª ° in Judahª castles,ª and citiesª of store.ª" {2Ch 17:12} + "And all¹ the citiesª of storeª that¹ Solomonª had,¹ and citiesª for his chariots,ª and citiesª for his horsemen,ª and that² which¹ Solomonª desiredª ° to buildª ° in Jerusalem,ª and in Lebanon,ª and in all¹ the landª of his dominion.ª" {1Kg 9:19}
