{2 Chronicles 13:9} Have ye not x3808 cast out 5080 z8689 x853 the priests 3548 of the LORD, 3068 x853 the sons 1121 of Aaron, 175 and the Levites, 3881 and have made 6213 z8799 you priests 3548 after the manner of the nations 5971 of [other] lands? 776 so that whosoever x3605 cometh 935 z8802 to consecrate 4390 3027 z8763 himself with a young 1121 1241 bullock 6499 and seven 7651 rams, 352 [the same] may be x1961 a priest 3548 of [them that are] no 3808 gods. 430

cast out:
"For¹ the Levitesª leftª °¹ their suburbsª and their possession,ª and came² °¹ to Judahª and Jerusalem:ª for¹ Jeroboamª and his sonsª had cast them offª ° from executing the priest's officeª °¹ unto the LORD:ª ... And he ordainedª ° him priestsª for the high places,ª and for the devils,ª and for the calvesª which¹ he had made.ª °" {2Ch 11:14-15}

made you priests:
"And he madeª °¹ an houseª of high places,ª and madeª ° priestsª of the lowestª ¹ of the people,ª which¹ were¹ not¹ of the sonsª ¹ of Levi.ª ... So he offeredª ° upon¹ the altarª which¹ he had madeª ° in Bethelª the fifteenthª ª dayª of the eighthª month,ª [even] in the monthª which¹ he had devisedª ° of his own heart;ª ¹ and ordainedª ° a feastª unto the childrenª of Israel:ª and he offeredª ° upon¹ the altar,ª and burnt incense.ª °" {1Kg 12:31-33} + "Afterª this¹ thingª Jeroboamª returnedª ° not¹ from his evil² way,ª ¹ ¹ but madeª ° againª ° of the lowestª ¹ of the peopleª priestsª of the high places:ª whosoever would,ª he consecratedª ª °¹ him, and he became¹ [one] of the priestsª of the high places.ª" {1Kg 13:33}

consecrate himself:
Heb. fill his hand, "For Mosesª had said,ª ° Consecrate¹ ¹ yourselves² °² to dayª to the LORD,ª evenª every manª upon his son,ª and upon his brother;ª that he may bestowª ° upon¹ you a blessingª this day.ª" {Exd 32:29} + "And the priest,ª whom¹ he shall anoint,ª ° and whom¹ he shall consecrateª ª °¹ to minister in the priest's officeª ° in his father's² stead,¹ ¹ shall make the atonement,ª ° and shall put onª °¹ the linenª clothes,ª [even] the holyª garments:ª" {Lev 16:32} + "The goldª for [things] of gold,ª and the silverª for [things] of silver,ª and for all manner¹ of workª [to be made] by the handsª of artificers.ª And who¹ [then] is willingª ° to consecrate² ° his serviceª ¹ this dayª unto the LORD?ª" {1Ch 29:5} *marg.

no gods:
