suburbs:
"Commandª °¹ the childrenª of Israel,ª that they giveª ° unto the Levitesª of the inheritanceª ¹ of their possessionª citiesª to dwell in;ª ° and ye shall giveª ° [also] unto the Levitesª suburbsª for the citiesª round aboutª them. ... And ye shall measureª ° from withoutª ¹ the cityª on¹ the eastª sideª two thousandª cubits,ª and on the southª sideª two thousandª cubits,ª and on the westª sideª two thousandª cubits,ª and on the northª sideª two thousandª cubits;ª and the cityª [shall be] in the midst:ª this¹ shall be¹ to them the suburbsª of the cities.ª" {Num 35:2-5} + "And the familiesª of the childrenª of Kohath,ª the Levitesª which remainedª ° of the childrenª ¹ of Kohath,ª even they had¹ the citiesª of their lotª out of the tribeª ¹ of Ephraim.ª ...
