- to Shemaiah:
- "Then cameª° Shemaiahª the prophetª to¹ Rehoboam,ª and [to] the princesª of Judah,ª that¹ were gathered togetherª° to¹ Jerusalemª because² of¹¹ Shishak,ª and saidª° unto them, Thus¹ saithª° the LORD,ª Ye¹ have forsakenª° me, and therefore have I¹ alsoª leftª° you in the handª of Shishak.ª" {2Ch 12:5} + "And when the LORDª sawª° that¹ they humbled²° themselves,¹ the wordª of the LORDª came¹ to¹ Shemaiah,ª saying,ª° They have humbled²° themselves;¹ [therefore] I will not¹ destroyª° them, but I will grantª° them someª deliverance;ª and my wrathª shall not¹ be poured outª° upon Jerusalemª by the handª of Shishak.ª" {2Ch 12:7} + "Now the actsª of Rehoboam,ª firstª and last,ª [are] they¹ not¹ writtenª° in the bookª of Shemaiahª the prophet,ª and of Iddoª the seerª concerning genealogies?ª° And [there were] warsª between Rehoboamª and Jeroboamª continually.ª¹" {2Ch 12:15} + "But the wordª of Godª came¹ unto¹ Shemaiahª the manª of God,ª saying,ª° ...
