the chief:
"Now the childrenª of Israelª after their number,ª [to wit], the chiefª fathersª and captainsª of thousandsª and hundreds,ª and their officersª ° that servedª °¹ the kingª in any¹ matterª of the courses,ª which came inª ° and went outª ° month² by monthª throughout all¹ the monthsª of the year,ª of everyª courseª [were] twentyª and fourª thousand.ª ... The twelfthª ª [captain] for the twelfthª ª monthª [was] Heldaiª the Netophathite,ª of Othniel:ª and in¹ his courseª [were] twentyª and fourª thousand.ª" {1Ch 27:1-15} + "And the Gentilesª shall comeª ° to thy light,ª and kingsª to the brightnessª of thy rising.ª ... "And over¹ the king'sª treasuresª [was] Azmavethª the sonª of Adiel:ª and over¹ the storehousesª in the fields,ª in the cities,ª and in the villages,ª and in the castles,ª [was] Jehonathanª the sonª of Uzziah:ª ...
