{1 Chronicles 28:4} Howbeit the LORD 3068 God 430 of Israel 3478 chose 977 z8799 me before all x4480 x3605 the house 1004 of my father 1 to be x1961 king 4428 over x5921 Israel 3478 for ever: 5769 for x3588 he hath chosen 977 z8804 Judah 3063 [to be] the ruler; 5057 and of the house 1004 of Judah, 3063 the house 1004 of my father; 1 and among the sons 1121 of my father 1 he liked 7521 z8804 me to make [me] king 4427 z8687 over x5921 all x3605 Israel: 3478

chose me:
"And it came to pass,¹ when they were come,ª ° that he looked² ° on¹ ¹ Eliab,ª and said,ª ° Surely¹ the LORD'Sª anointedª [is] before¹ him. ... among the sons:
