Cross Reference 1 CHRONICLES 13:2 AND DAVID SAID UNTO ALL THE CONGREGATION OF ISRAEL IF IT SEEM GOOD UNTO YOU AND THAT IT BE OF THE LORD OUR GOD LET US SEND ABROAD UNTO OUR BRETHREN EVERY WHERE THAT ARE LEFT IN ALL THE LAND OF ISRAEL AND WITH THEM ALSO TO THE PRIESTS AND LEVITES WHICH ARE IN THEIR CITIES AND SUBURBS THAT THEY MAY GATHER THEMSELVES UNTO US

{1 Chronicles 13:2} And David 1732 said 559 z8799 unto all x3605 the congregation 6951 of Israel, 3478 If x518 [it seem] good 2895 z8804 unto x5921 you, and [that it be] of x4480 the LORD 3068 our God, 430 let us send 7971 z8799 abroad 6555 z8799 unto x5921 our brethren 251 every where, [that are] left 7604 z8737 in all x3605 the land 776 of Israel, 3478 and with x5973 them [also] to the priests 3548 and Levites 3881 [which are] in their cities 5892 [and] suburbs, 4054 that they may gather y6908 z8735 themselves x6908 unto x413 us:

If it seem:
"And they spakeª ° unto¹ him, saying,ª ° If¹ thou wilt be¹ a servantª unto this¹ peopleª this day,ª and wilt serveª ° them, and answerª ° them, and speakª ° goodª wordsª to¹ them, then they will be¹ thy servantsª for ever.ª ¹" {1Kg 12:7} + "But kingª Joramª was returnedª ° to be healedª ° in Jezreelª of¹ the woundsª which¹ the Syriansª had givenª ° him, when he foughtª ° with¹ Hazaelª kingª of Syria.)ª And Jehuª said,ª ° If¹ it beª your minds,ª [then] let noneª go forthª ° [nor] escapeª out of¹ the cityª to go² °¹ to tellª ° [it] in Jezreel.ª" {2Kg 9:15} + "Without¹ counselª purposesª are disappointed:ª ° but in the multitudeª of counsellorsª ° they are established.ª °" {Prv 15:22} + "Wherefore,ª though I might beª ° muchª boldª inª Christª to enjoinª ° theeª that which is convenient,ª ° ... and that it be:
"If¹ thou shalt doª °¹ this¹ thing,ª and Godª commandª ° thee [so], then thou shalt be ableª ° to endure,ª ° and all¹ this¹ peopleª shall also¹ goª ° to¹ their placeª in peace.ª" {Exd 18:23} + "That the kingª saidª ° unto¹ Nathanª the prophet,ª Seeª ° now,¹ I¹ dwellª ° in an houseª of cedar,ª but the arkª of Godª dwellethª ° withinª curtains.ª ... the priests:
"Then¹ Davidª said,ª ° None¹ ought to carryª °¹ the arkª of Godª but¹ ¹ the Levites:ª for¹ them hath the LORDª chosenª ° to carryª °¹ the arkª of God,ª and to ministerª ° unto him for² ever.ª ¹ ... So the priestsª and the Levitesª sanctified² ° themselves¹ to bring upª °¹ the arkª of the LORDª Godª of Israel.ª" {1Ch 15:2-14} + "This¹ [shall be] the serviceª of the sonsª of Kohathª in the tabernacleª of the congregation,ª [about] the most² holy things:ª ... But they shall not¹ go inª ° to seeª ° when¹ the holy thingsª are covered,ª ° lest they die.ª °" {Num 4:4-20} + "Moreover he commandedª ° the peopleª that dweltª ° in Jerusalemª to giveª ° the portionª of the priestsª and the Levites,ª that¹ they might be encouragedª ° in the lawª of the LORD.ª ... And in every¹ workª that¹ he beganª ° in the serviceª of the houseª of God,ª and in the law,ª and in the commandments,ª to seekª ° his God,ª he didª ° [it] with all¹ his heart,ª and prospered.ª °" {2Ch 31:4-21}

their cities and suburbs:
Heb. the cities of their suburbs, "Now these¹ [are] their dwelling placesª throughout their castlesª in their coasts,ª of the sonsª of Aaron,ª of the familiesª of the Kohathites:ª for¹ theirs was¹ the lot.ª ... And Heshbonª with her suburbs,ª and Jazerª with her suburbs.ª" {1Ch 6:54-81} + "Commandª °¹ the childrenª of Israel,ª that they giveª ° unto the Levitesª of the inheritanceª ¹ of their possessionª citiesª to dwell in;ª ° and ye shall giveª ° [also] unto the Levitesª suburbsª for the citiesª round aboutª them. ... And the LORDª spakeª ° unto¹ Moses,ª saying,ª °" {Num 35:2-9}
