{1 Chronicles 9:31} And Mattithiah, 4993 [one] of x4480 the Levites, 3881 who x1931 [was] the firstborn 1060 of Shallum 7967 the Korahite, 7145 had the set office 530 over x5921 the things that were made 4639 in the pans. 2281

Shallum:
"And the portersª [were], Shallum,ª and Akkub,ª and Talmon,ª and Ahiman,ª and their brethren:ª Shallumª [was] the chief;ª" {1Ch 9:17} + "And Shallumª the sonª of Kore,ª the sonª of Ebiasaph,ª the sonª of Korah,ª and his brethren,ª of the houseª of his father,ª the Korahites,ª [were] over¹ the workª of the service,ª keepersª ° of the gatesª of the tabernacle:ª and their fathers,ª [being] over¹ the hostª of the LORD,ª [were] keepersª ° of the entry.ª" {1Ch 9:19}

set office:
or, trust, "All¹ these [which were] chosenª ° to be portersª in the gatesª [were] two hundredª and twelve.ª ª These¹ were reckoned by their genealogyª ° in their villages,ª whom² Davidª and Samuelª the seer² °¹ did ordainª ° in their set office.ª" {1Ch 9:22} + "For¹ these¹ Levites,ª the fourª chiefª porters,ª were in [their] set office,ª and were¹ over¹ the chambersª and treasuriesª of the houseª of God.ª" {1Ch 9:26}

in the pans:
or, on flat plates, or slices, "And if¹ thy oblationª [be] a meat offeringª [baken] in¹ a pan,ª it shall be¹ [of] fine flourª unleavened,ª mingledª ° with oil.ª" {Lev 2:5} + "And if¹ thy oblationª [be] a meat offeringª [baken] in the fryingpan,ª it shall be madeª ° [of] fine flourª with oil.ª" {Lev 2:7} + "In¹ a panª it shall be madeª ° with oil;ª [and when it is] baken,ª ° thou shalt bring² ° it in:¹ [and] the bakenª piecesª of the meat offeringª shalt thou offerª ° [for] a sweetª savourª unto the LORD.ª" {Lev 6:21}
