{1 Chronicles 6:61} And unto the sons 1121 of Kohath, 6955 [which were] left 3498 z8737 of the family 4940 x4480 of that tribe, 4294 [were cities given] out of the half 2677 x4480 tribe, 4294 [namely, out of] the half 4276 [tribe] of Manasseh, 4519 by lot, 1486 ten 6235 cities. 5892

And unto:
"The sonsª of Levi;ª Gershon,ª Kohath,ª and Merari.ª ... And the sonsª of Kohath;ª Amram,ª Izhar,ª and Hebron,ª and Uzziel.ª" {1Ch 6:1-2} + "And the sonsª of Kohathª [were], Amram,ª and Izhar,ª and Hebron,ª and Uzziel.ª" {1Ch 6:18} + "And these¹ [are] they that waitedª ° with their children.ª Of the sonsª ¹ of the Kohathites:ª Hemanª a singer,ª ° the sonª of Joel,ª the sonª of Shemuel,ª" {1Ch 6:33}

left:
"And [the residue] of the familiesª ¹ of the sonsª of Kohathª had¹ citiesª of their coastsª out of the tribeª ¹ of Ephraim.ª" {1Ch 6:66} + "And the lotª came outª ° for the familiesª of the Kohathites:ª and the childrenª of Aaronª the priest,ª [which were] of¹ the Levites,ª had¹ by lotª out of the tribeª ¹ of Judah,ª and out of the tribeª ¹ of Simeon,ª and out of the tribeª ¹ of Benjamin,ª thirteenª ª cities.ª ... And the restª ° of the childrenª of Kohathª [had] by lotª out of the familiesª ¹ of the tribeª of Ephraim,ª and out of the tribeª ¹ of Dan,ª and out of the halfª ¹ tribeª of Manasseh,ª tenª cities.ª" {Jsh 21:4-5} + "And the familiesª of the childrenª of Kohath,ª the Levitesª which remainedª ° of the childrenª ¹ of Kohath,ª even they had¹ the citiesª of their lotª out of the tribeª ¹ of Ephraim.ª ... All¹ the citiesª [were] tenª with their suburbsª for the familiesª of the childrenª of Kohathª that remained.ª °" {Jsh 21:20-26}

by lot:
"By lotª [was] their inheritance,ª as¹ the LORDª commandedª ° by the handª of Moses,ª for the nineª tribes,ª and [for] the halfª tribe.ª" {Jsh 14:2}

ten cities:
"All¹ the citiesª [were] tenª with their suburbsª for the familiesª of the childrenª of Kohathª that remained.ª °" {Jsh 21:26}
