Isaac:
"And Godª said,ª º Sarahª thy wifeª shall bearª º thee a sonª indeed;ª and thou shalt callª º ¹ his nameª Isaac:ª and I will establishª º ¹ my covenantª with¹ him for an everlastingª covenant,ª [and] with his seedª after¹ him.² ... But my covenantª will I establishª º with¹ Isaac,ª which¹ Sarahª shall bearª º unto thee at this¹ set timeª in the nextª year.ª" {Gen 17:19-21} + "For Sarahª conceived,ª º and bareª º Abrahamª a sonª in his old age,ª at the set timeª of which¹ Godª had spokenª º to him. ... And Abrahamª was an hundredª yearsª old,ª when¹ his sonª Isaacª was bornª º unto him." {Gen 21:2-5} + "And Godª saidª º unto¹ Abraham,ª Let it not¹ be grievous² º ¹ in thy sightª because of¹ the lad,ª and because of¹ thy bondwoman;ª in all¹ that¹ Sarahª hath saidª º unto¹ thee, hearkenª º unto her voice;ª for¹ in Isaacª shall thy seedª be called.ª º" {Gen 21:12}

Ishmael:
"And the angelª of the LORDª saidª º unto her, Behold,ª thou [art] with child,ª and shalt bearª º a son,ª and shalt callª º his nameª Ishmael;ª because¹ the LORDª hath heardª º ¹ thy affliction.ª ... And Abramª [was] fourscoreª ² and sixª yearsª old,ª when Hagarª bareª º ¹ Ishmaelª to Abram.ª" {Gen 16:11-16} + "And Sarahª sawª º ¹ the sonª of Hagarª the Egyptian,ª which¹ she had bornª º unto Abraham,ª mocking.ª º ...
