it came to pass:
"Thus¹ saithª ° the LORD,ª the Godª of Israel;ª Like these¹ goodª figs,ª so¹ will I acknowledgeª °¹ them that are carried away captiveª of Judah,ª whom¹ I have sentª ° out of¹ this¹ placeª into the landª of the Chaldeansª for [their] good.ª ... king of Babylon:
"The king'sª heartª [is] in the handª of the LORD,ª [as] the riversª of water:ª he turnethª ° it whithersoever¹ ¹ ¹ he will.ª °" {Prv 21:1}

lift up the head:
