{2 Kings 23:13} And the high places 1116 that x834 [were] before 6440 x5921 Jerusalem, 3389 which x834 [were] on the right hand 3225 x4480 of the mount 2022 of corruption, 4889 which x834 Solomon 8010 the king 4428 of Israel 3478 had builded 1129 z8804 for Ashtoreth 6253 the abomination 8251 of the Zidonians, 6722 and for Chemosh 3645 the abomination 8251 of the Moabites, 4124 and for Milcom 4445 the abomination 8441 of the children 1121 of Ammon, 5983 did the king 4428 defile. 2930 z8765

the mount of corruption:
that is, the mount of Olives, Houbigant, deriving the Hebrew mashchith from mashach, "to anoint," reads "the Mount of Olives." Jarchi, following the Chaldee, also says this was the Mount of Olives; for this is the mount hammishchah, of unction, but because of the idolatrous purposes for which it was used, the Scripture changed the appellation to the mount of hammashchith, corruption.

Solomon:
"Then¹ did Solomonª buildª ° an high placeª for Chemosh,ª the abominationª of Moab,ª in the hillª that¹ [is] beforeª ¹ Jerusalem,ª and for Molech,ª the abominationª of the childrenª of Ammon.ª" {1Kg 11:7} + "Did not¹ Solomonª kingª of Israelª sinª ° by¹ these things?¹ yet among manyª nationsª was¹ there no¹ kingª like him,¹ who was¹ belovedª ° of his God,ª and Godª madeª ° him kingª over¹ all¹ Israel:ª nevertheless¹ even him² did outlandishª womenª cause to sin.ª °" {Neh 13:26}

Ashtoreth:

Chemosh:
"Woeª to thee, Moab!ª thou art undone,ª ° O peopleª of Chemosh:ª he hath givenª ° his sonsª that escaped,ª and his daughters,ª into captivity² ¹ unto Sihonª kingª of the Amorites.ª" {Num 21:29} + "Wilt not¹ thou possessª °¹ that which¹ Chemoshª thy godª giveth thee to possess?ª ° So whomsoever¹ ¹ the LORDª our Godª shall drive outª ° from beforeª ¹ us, them will we possess.ª °" {Jdg 11:24} + "For¹ because¹ thou hast trustedª ° in thy worksª and in thy treasures,ª thou¹ shalt also¹ be taken:ª ° and Chemoshª shall go forthª ° into captivityª [with] his priestsª and his princesª together.ª" {Jer 48:7} + "And Moabª shall be ashamedª ° of Chemosh,ª ¹ as¹ the houseª of Israelª was ashamedª ° of Bethelª ¹ their confidence.ª" {Jer 48:13} + "The calamityª of Moabª [is] nearª to come,ª ° and his afflictionª hastethª ° fast.ª" {Jer 48:16}

Milcom:
"And them that worshipª ° the hostª of heavenª upon¹ the housetops;ª and them that worshipª ° [and] that swearª ° by the LORD,ª and that swearª ° by Malcham;² ¹" {Zph 1:5}, Malcham
