"And¹ ¹ the Levitesª that¹ are gone away farª ° from¹ ¹ me, when Israelª went astray,ª ° which¹ went astray¹ away² ° from¹ ¹ me afterª their idols;ª they shall even bearª ° their iniquity.ª ... But I will makeª ° them keepersª ° of the chargeª of the house,ª for all¹ the serviceª thereof, and for all¹ that¹ shall be doneª ° therein." {Ezk 44:10-14} + "But ye¹ are departedª ° out of¹ the way;ª ye have caused many² to stumbleª °¹ at the law;ª ye have corruptedª ° the covenantª of Levi,ª saithª ° the LORDª of hosts.ª ... The priestsª shall not¹ eatª ° of any thing¹ that is dead of itself,ª or torn,ª whether¹ it be fowlª or¹ beast.ª" {Ezk 44:29-31}
