he made a pool:
"So there was gatheredª ° muchª peopleª together,² ° who stoppedª °¹ all¹ the fountains,ª and the brookª that ranª ° through the midstª of the land,ª saying,ª ° Why¹ should the kingsª of Assyriaª come,ª ° and findª ° muchª water?ª" {2Ch 32:4} + "This same¹ Hezekiahª also stoppedª °¹ the upperª watercourseª ª of Gihon,ª and brought it straightª ° downª to the west sideª of the cityª of David.ª And Hezekiahª prosperedª ° in all¹ his works.ª" {2Ch 32:30} + "Now the restª of the actsª of Hezekiah,ª and his goodness,ª behold,¹ they [are] writtenª ° in the visionª of Isaiahª the prophet,ª the sonª of Amoz,ª [and] in¹ the bookª of the kingsª of Judahª and Israel.ª" {2Ch 32:32} + "Afterª him repairedª ° Nehemiahª the sonª of Azbuk,ª the rulerª of the halfª partª of Bethzur,ª unto¹ [the place] over against¹ the sepulchresª of David,ª and to¹ the poolª that was made,ª ° and unto¹ the houseª of the mighty.ª" {Neh 3:16} + "Ye have seenª ° also the breachesª of the cityª of David,ª that¹ they are many:ª ° and ye gathered togetherª °¹ the watersª of the lowerª pool.ª ...
