open the eyes:
"And Elishaª prayed,ª ° and said,ª ° LORD,ª I pray thee,¹ openª °¹ his eyes,ª that he may see.ª ° And the LORDª openedª °¹ the eyesª of the young man;ª and he saw:ª ° and, behold,¹ the mountainª [was] fullª ° of horsesª and chariotsª of fireª round aboutª Elisha.ª" {2Kg 6:17} + "Andª theirª eyesª were opened,ª ° andª they knewª ° him;ª andª heª vanishedª ª ° out of² their sight.ª ¹" {Lke 24:31}

opened:
"But when the flameª beganª ° to arise upª ° out of¹ the cityª with a pillarª of smoke,ª the Benjamites² ¹ lookedª ° behindª them, and, behold,¹ the flameª of the cityª ascended upª ° to heaven.ª ...
