my brother:
"And Hiramª kingª of Tyreª sentª °¹ his servantsª unto¹ Solomon;ª for¹ he had heardª ° that¹ they had anointedª ° him kingª in the room¹ of his father:ª for¹ Hiramª was¹ everª ¹ a loverª ° of David.ª ... And Solomonª sentª ° to¹ Hiram,ª saying,ª °" {1Kg 5:1-2} + "Thus¹ saithª ° the LORD;ª For¹ threeª transgressionsª of Tyrus,ª and for¹ four,ª I will not¹ turn awayª ° [the punishment] thereof; because¹ they delivered upª ° the wholeª captivityª to Edom,ª and rememberedª ° not¹ the brotherlyª covenant:ª" {Ams 1:9}

Cabul:
that is, Displeasing, or dirty. Josephus says that Cabul, in the Phoenician language, signifies ουκ αρεσκον, displeasing; and that these cities were situated in the neighbourhood of Tyre. Most commentators are persuaded that the city Cabul in the tribe of Asher was one; and probably from this Hiram took occasion to give this name to all the other cities which Solomon had ceded to him. "And turnethª ° toward the sunrisingª ª to Bethdagon,ª and reachethª ° to Zebulun,ª and to the valleyª of Jiphthahelª toward the north sideª of Bethemek,ª and Neiel,ª and goeth outª ° to¹ Cabulª on the left hand,ª" {Jsh 19:27}
