- an oath be laid upon him:
- Heb. he require an oath of him, "If¹ the thiefª be notª found,ª° then the masterª of the houseª shall be broughtª° unto¹ the judges,ª [to see] whether¹¹ he have putª° his handª unto his neighbour'sª goods.ª ...
