Gilead:
"So he¹ fledª ° with all¹ that¹ he had; and he rose up,ª ° and passed overª °¹ the river,ª and setª °¹ his faceª [toward] the mountª Gilead.ª" {Gen 31:21} + "And Labanª calledª ° it Jegarsahadutha:ª but Jacobª calledª ° it Galeed.ª ... And Labanª said,ª ° This¹ heapª [is] a witnessª between¹ me and thee this day.ª Therefore¹ ¹ was the nameª of it calledª ° Galeed;ª" {Gen 31:47-48} + "Now the childrenª of Reubenª and the childrenª of Gadª had¹ a veryª greatª multitudeª of cattle:ª and when they sawª °¹ the landª of Jazer,ª and the landª of Gilead,ª that, behold,¹ the placeª [was] a placeª for cattle;ª" {Num 32:1} + "And the childrenª of Machirª the sonª of Manassehª went² °¹ to Gilead,ª and tookª ° it, and dispossessedª °¹ the Amoriteª which¹ [was] in it." {Num 32:39}

or, nether land newly inhabited, Dan-jaan. "And the coastª of the childrenª of Danª went outª ° [too little] for them:¹ therefore the childrenª of Danª went upª ° to fightª ° against¹ Leshem,ª and tookª ° it, and smoteª ° it with the edgeª of the sword,ª and possessedª ° it, and dweltª ° therein, and calledª ° Leshem,ª Dan,ª after the nameª of Danª their father.ª" {Jsh 19:47} + "And they calledª ° the nameª of the cityª Dan,ª after the nameª of Danª their father,ª who¹ was bornª ° unto Israel:ª howbeitª the nameª of the cityª [was] Laishª at the first.ª" {Jdg 18:29}

Zidon:
