Elhanan:
etc. Instead of את גלית יערי ארגיס בית הלחמי, of the text, we should certainly read, as in the parallel text, "and Elhanan the son of Jair, slew Lahmi the brother of Goliath." "Also the valiant menª of the armiesª [were], Asahelª the brotherª of Joab,ª Elhananª the sonª of Dodoª of Bethlehem,ª ¹" {1Ch 11:26}

Jaareoregim:
or, Jair, "And there was¹ warª again¹ with¹ the Philistines;ª and Elhananª the sonª of Jairª slewª °¹ Lahmiª the brotherª of Goliathª the Gittite,ª whose spearª staffª [was] like a weaver'sª ° beam.ª" {1Ch 20:5}

Goliath:
"And there went outª ° a championª ª out of the campª ¹ of the Philistines,ª namedª Goliath,ª of Gath,ª ¹ whose heightª [was] sixª cubitsª and a span.ª ... When Saulª and all¹ Israelª heardª °¹ those¹ wordsª of the Philistine,ª they were dismayed,ª ° and greatlyª afraid.ª °" {1Sm 17:4-11}
