a third part:
"And he dividedª °¹ the threeª hundredª menª [into] threeª companies,ª and he putª ° a trumpetª in every man's¹ hand,ª with emptyª pitchers,ª and lampsª withinª the pitchers.ª" {Jdg 7:16} + "So Gideon,ª and the hundredª menª that¹ [were] with¹ him, cameª ° unto the outsideª of the campª in the beginningª of the middleª watch;ª and they had butª newly² ° setª °¹ the watch:ª ° and they blewª ° the trumpets,ª and brakeª ° the pitchersª that¹ [were] in their hands.ª" {Jdg 7:19} + "And he tookª °¹ the people,ª and dividedª ° them into threeª companies,ª and laid waitª ° in the field,ª and looked,ª ° and, behold,¹ the peopleª [were] come forthª ° out of¹ the city;ª and he rose upª ° against¹ them, and smoteª ° them." {Jdg 9:43}

the hand of Joab:
"And when Davidª heardª ° of [it], he sentª °¹ Joab,ª and all¹ the hostª of the mighty men.ª ... And the restª of the peopleª he deliveredª ° into the handª of Abishaiª his brother,ª that he might put [them] in arrayª ° againstª ° the childrenª of Ammon.ª" {2Sm 10:7-10}

Ittai:
"Then saidª ° the kingª to¹ Ittaiª the Gittite,ª Wherefore¹ goest² °¹ thou¹ also¹ with¹ us? returnª ° to thy place,ª and abideª ° with¹ the king:ª for¹ thou¹ [art] a stranger,ª and also¹ an exile.ª ° ... And Davidª saidª ° to¹ Ittai,ª Go² °¹ and pass over.ª ° And Ittaiª the Gittiteª passed over,ª ° and all¹ his men,² ¹ and all¹ the little onesª that¹ [were] with¹ him." {2Sm 15:19-22}

I will surely:
