Bahurim:
This place is supposed to be the same as Almon ("¹ Anathothª with¹ her suburbs,ª and Almonª with¹ her suburbs;ª fourª cities.ª" {Jsh 21:18}), and Almeth ("And out of the tribeª ¹ of Benjamin;ª ¹ Gebaª with her suburbs,ª and Alemethª with her suburbs,ª and Anathothª with her suburbs.ª All¹ their citiesª throughout their familiesª [were] thirteenª ª cities.ª" {1Ch 6:60}), a city of Benjamin, north of Jerusalem, and apparently not far from Olivet. "And the king,ª and all¹ the peopleª that¹ [were] with¹ him, cameª ° weary,ª and refreshed² ° themselves¹ there.¹" {2Sm 16:14} + "And her husbandª went² °¹ with¹ her along¹ weepingª °² behindª her to¹ Bahurim.ª Then saidª ° Abnerª unto¹ him, Go,² °¹ return.ª ° And he returned.ª °" {2Sm 3:16} + "Nevertheless a ladª sawª ° them, and toldª ° Absalom:ª but they went² °¹ bothª of them away quickly,ª and cameª ° to¹ a man'sª houseª in Bahurim,ª which had a wellª in his court;ª whitherª they went down.ª °" {2Sm 17:18}
