slew them:
"And Davidª calledª ° oneª of the young men,ª ¹ and said,ª ° Go near,ª ° [and] fallª ° upon him. hanged:
"And he deliveredª ° them into the handsª of the Gibeonites,ª and they hangedª ° them in the hillª beforeª the LORD:ª and they fellª ° [all] sevenª °² together,ª and were put to deathª ° in the daysª of harvest,ª in the firstª [days], in the beginningª of barleyª harvest.ª" {2Sm 21:9} + "And if¹ a manª have committed¹ a sinª worthy¹ of² death,ª and he be to be put to death,ª ° and thou hangª ° him on¹ a tree:ª ... His bodyª shall not¹ remain all nightª ° upon¹ the tree,ª but¹ thou shalt in any wise² ° buryª ° him that¹ day;ª (for¹ he that is hangedª ° [is] accursedª of God;)ª that¹ thy landª be not¹ defiled,ª ° which¹ the LORDª thy Godª givethª ° thee [for] an inheritance.ª" {Deu 21:22-23}

in the sepulchre:
"And they buriedª °¹ Abnerª in Hebron:ª and the kingª lifted upª °¹ his voice,ª and weptª ° at¹ the graveª of Abner;ª and all¹ the peopleª wept.ª °" {2Sm 3:32}
