sware:
"For,¹ [as] the LORDª liveth,ª which savethª °¹ Israel,ª though¹ ¹ it beª in Jonathan² ¹ my son,ª he shall surely² ° die.ª ° But [there was] not a man¹ among all¹ ¹ the peopleª [that] answeredª ° him." {1Sm 14:39} + "And Saulª swareª ° to her by the LORD,ª saying,ª ° [As] the LORDª liveth,ª there shall² no¹ punishmentª happenª ° to thee for this¹ thing.ª" {1Sm 28:10} + "In whose eyesª a vile personª ° is contemned;ª ° but he honourethª ° them that fear² ¹ the LORD.ª [He that] swearethª ° to [his own] hurt,ª ° and changethª ° not.¹" {Psa 15:4} + "He that hatethª ° dissemblethª ° with his lips,ª and layeth upª ° deceitª withinª him; ... he shall not:
"And Saulª soughtª ° to smiteª ° Davidª even to the wallª with the javelin;ª but he slipped awayª ° out of Saul's² presence,ª ¹ ¹ and he smoteª °¹ the javelinª into the wall:ª and Davidª fled,ª ° and escapedª ° that¹ night.ª ...
